Finding it difficult to drive a 13lb Fidanza on the street or difficulty launching at the strip?  Now you have a choice when it comes to flywheel weight.  This flywheel weighs in at 22lbs. The added mass creates more inertia, making it much easier to drive on the street, without slipping the clutch so much.  Yet 40% lighter than the stock dual mass flywheel, resulting in faster revving.  

What makes our aluminum billet flywheels different and better for the ZR-1 Corvette?  Lot's of things, such as...

• The only, true, direct replacement, aftermarket flywheel for the ZR-1 Corvette.
• Made to the same thickness dimension from the crankshaft flange to the clutch surface.
• Stock Clutch geometry stays the same, just the way it was designed! Other single-mass lightweight flywheels cause the clutch fork to make up the difference by angling in towards the flywheel, putting more load on the release system.
• Surface ground finish, with the steel wear surface firmly riveted in place. 
• Insures the face is perfectly parallel and no run-out, meaning smooth & effective clutch engagement.
• Thicker .235" thick steel friction surface, compared to other companies using .180" and even .125" inserts.
• Riveted, not screwed, so no worries about loose screws
• Thicker .235" friction surface means less warping, resulting in smoother engagement & less slippage, putting more power to the wheels.
• Thicker insert means greater wicking of heat away from the flywheel.
• Renewable friction surface.  Simply send in the flywheel and we will have a new steel friction surface installed and surface ground. (Pricing on Request.)
• Balanced within 0.5oz/in of the factory specifications.  Most companies do not do this.
• Fully compatible with different types of clutch discs.
• machined to accept both solid and sprung hub styles, so now you have a choice. 
• If it works with the original dual-mass flywheel, it will work with our flywheel, so no worries if you have a new clutch ready to install and were afraid to go to a thin, ultra-light flywheel like Fidanza..... now you have a mo-betta' option.
