Housing Set, Fuel Injector LH & RH, 2nd Design for 1991 & 1992 ZR-1 LT5. ...and that's where it ends for these injector housings.  They are new, but have been extensively modified to convert from the 16 fuel injector design to the 8 injector concept, i.e. only one injector per cylinder.  

A few years ago, Graham Behan, Chief Lotus Project Engineer, gave a presentation at the NCM about the LT5 that never was.  It was to have been a 475hp version, with mono-runners and 8 injectors, slated for the 1996 ZR-1 Corvette.  Only two engines were ever made and none completed as a running engine. 

Although the injector housings were completely eliminated for the "1996 LT5," it is possible that these injector housings were the predecessor to the 8 injector design.  A very interesting LT5 artifact.
