Shipping & Returns


       We can and do ship to virtually any nation in the world. Note that there may be restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to certain international destinations.

      When you place an order, you can estimate shipping right from the store, based on the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider/method you choose, shipping date estimates may also appear on the shipping quotes page.  Although the present shipping options are USPS only, we reserve the right to ship certain items by USPS Regular Ground.  This will apply mainly to unusually heavy or awkward sizes that are outside of our normal scope of packaging.  Cost is comparable.

      Please also note that the shipping rates for items we sell are weight & dimension based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. Dimensions of individual parts are approximate and as most orders are comprised of a few to many products, the end result can and will vary. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.  Please be aware that orders comprised of several different parts can often result in a calculated shipping cost that is higher or lower than actual.  We do not try to make a profit on shipping.

      Our preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority and Priority Express.  We have found the USPS to be the lowest cost by far for International orders, that-is until their contract carriers, such as Fed-Ex converted to weight/dimension calculations for shipping. As of this date 1Jul15, USPS is still weight only for domestic US shipments, but is expected to add dimension to the calculation.  

      NOTE to International Customers: USPS International is a different story.  With the dimension now being an integral part of shipping cost.  Any item ordered must have a dimension in our database.  With hundreds of items, it's likely that we will have missed adding dimensions.  If you are an international customer and have difficulty placing your order, please send us an email with a list of the items you are ordering so we can fix the problem for you. 



Electrical Parts Return: 

     Sorry, no returns unless DOA.  Simply return the DOA part to us in the original box or container and we will replace it free of charge. We'll also pay the return shipping costs.

"Changed your Mind" Return:

     Necessitated by the abuse of our obsolete lenient policy, we have been regrettably forced to change. Returns will now incur a 30% restocking fee.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer.  Return approval must be obtained prior to shipping back to Jerrys Gaskets and must be unused, in unopened packaging. Call, email or text for approval.

 "Our Mistakes":

       If we failed to fill your order properly (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), you may return most new, unused, unopened items within 5 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs.

      For domestic customers, you should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (3 to 5 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).  For international customers, allow additional time. If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
